Prompt Sharpener is a Chrome extension that inserts reusable prompt phrases into the text field you are editing. This policy explains what the extension does and does not do with your information.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. Prompt Sharpener has no servers and makes no network requests. The developer has no access to your data.
The extension stores only the configuration you create: your list of prompt phrases,
your keyboard-shortcut favorites, and your display settings (insert position and separator).
This data is saved using Chrome's storage.sync API, which keeps it on your device
and, if you are signed in to Chrome, syncs it across your own browsers through your Google
account. It is never sent to the developer or any third party.
Prompt Sharpener only writes your chosen phrase into the text box you are actively editing. It does not read, store, monitor, or transmit the content of any web page, your browsing history, or your keystrokes.
The extension requests host access so it can insert text into the input field on any site where you use it (for example AI chat tools and other pages with text boxes). This access is used solely to insert your phrase and for no other purpose.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
